Brussel Sprouts With Maple/Bacon |

This recipe is a must for every holiday in my family! I would not even show up without them. Ingredients:
6 slices maple bacon |
1 shallot |
brussels sprout |
1/2 cup maple syrup |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. trim sprouts and parboil for 8 minute cook bacon in skillet until crisp.remove bacon.set aside. mince shallot,saute in bacon fat until tender. add brussel sprouts and saute until browned add salt and pepper to taste. pour in maple syrup and let reduce over moderate heat a few minutes.pour into dish, crumble bacon on top. |
