This is a recipe that I got from Gina (Brownies). I read the comments and some people found it to be a bit too sweet so I lowered the sugar, lowered the butter, and increased the cocoa to get this revised delicious recipe. It makes a brownie that is less sweet but with a very chocolate flavor and very good. Thanks Gina! Ingredients:
7 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder |
1/2 cup butter |
1 1/4 cups sugar |
3 eggs, beaten |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 cup all-purpose flour |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. 1. Melt butter and Cocoa on low heat 2. 2. Add sugar, vanilla and eggs and mix (I used an electric hand mixer which worked very well). 3. 3. Add flour gradually and in small batches mixing well with an electric mixer adding the next batch of flour once the prior is absorbed completely. Add the salt. 4. 4. Add to a greased floured 7 inch pan and bake at 350F for ~30 min or until done. |
