Here is the plain and basic brownie recipe that we all know and love with a little flair and peanuts thrown in - Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1 cup unsalted butter, melted |
1 1/2 cups sugar |
2 teaspoons vanilla extract |
4 eggs |
1/4 cup peanut butter |
1 cup milk chocolate chips |
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder |
1 cup salted peanuts |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350°F Grease a 13x9-inch pan with nonstick cooking spray. 2. In a medium bowl, using wire whisk stir together flour, baking powder, and salt; set aside. 3. In a large bowl, with a wire whisk, mix together melted butter, sugar and vanilla. Beat eggs, one at a time, using a wooden spoon, stir in flour mixture until well blended. 4. Separate half the batter (about 1 1/2 cups) to medium bowl. Mix in peanut butter. Stir in chocolate morsels and spread batter evenly in pan. 5. Add cocoa to remaining batter; mix well, Srir in peanuts, Spoon chocolate batter over peanut butter layer and smooth top gently. 6. Bake 25-30 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. 7. Cool in pan on wire rack, Cut into 24 squares. |
