This was always a favorite at school bake sales when I was young. Ingredients:
1/4 cup melted butter |
1 cup sugar |
2 eggs |
3/4 cup flour |
1/4 cup cocoa |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
Directions:
1. Combine sugar with melted margarine. Cream well (no mixer needed). 2. Add eggs and mix well. Stir in flour and cocoa. Add vanilla. 3. Grease and flour (or spray) a 9 inch round or square cake pan. 4. Bake approximately 20 minutes 350. Best not to over bake them, they shouldn't be dry. |
