A rich crispy brownie almost like a candy bar...A little goes a long way with this one..I got this recipe off the back of a Duncan Hines brownie box.. Ingredients:
1 box of any brownie mix (13 x 9 size) |
1 container of whipped vanilla frosting |
3/4 cup salted peanuts, coarsley chopped |
3 cups chrispy rice cereal |
1 cup cream peanut butter |
1 bag (12 oz size) semisweet chocolate chips |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350 degrees and make brownies per directions 2. on box 3. Cool completely 4. Frost brownies with vanilla frosting mix 5. Sprinkle with chopped peanuts 6. Refrigerate for a few minutes 7. Meanwhile into a large bowl measure out cereal and set aside 8. In quart size saucepan melt peanut butter and chocolate chips over low heat. stirring constantly 9. Pour this hot mixture over cereal in bowl and mix throughly 10. Spread over frosted brownies 11. Let set for about 30 minutes then cut into bars |
