Great little snack; very chocolate, chewy and rich. Ingredients:
1 cup all-purpose flour |
1/4 teaspoon baking soda |
1/4 cup butter |
2/3 cup granulated sugar |
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder |
1/4 cup packed brown sugar |
1/4 cup milk, soured |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 tablespoon powdered sugar |
Directions:
1. Stir together flour and baking soda in small bowl. Set aside. 2. In a medium saucepan, melt butter; remove from heat. 3. Stir in sugars and cocoa. 4. Stir in milk and vanilla. 5. Stir in flour mixture until just combined. Cover and chill dough for at least 1 hour. (Dough will be stiff) 6. Drop chilled dough by teaspons (about 1 inch balls) onto cookie sheet. 7. Bake in 350 degrees F oven for 8-10 minutes or until edges are set. Cool on cookie shee for one minute. Transfer to wire rack and let cool. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Makes 24 cookies. |
