Brownie Caramel Walnut Bars |

Gooey, fudgy, delicious brownies! :) Ingredients:
1/2 cup white sugar |
2 tablespoons butter |
2 tablespoons water |
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips |
2 eggs |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
2/3 cup all-purpose flour |
1/4 teaspoon baking soda |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1 cup chopped walnuts |
prepared caramel topping |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350. 2. Line 9-inch baking pan with foil extending over edges. Grease and flour. 3. Combine sugar, butter, and water in medium saucepan, and cook over low heat stirring constantly. 4. Remove, immediately add 1 cup chocolate chips and stir until melted. 5. Beat in eggs and vanilla until well-blended. 6. Stir together flour, baking soda, and salt; stir into chocolate mixture. 7. Spread batter in pan, bake 15-20 minutes until brownies begin to pull away from pan. 8. Remove brownies from oven; immediately spread caramel topping. 9. Sprinkle remaining chips and nuts over topping. 10. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Cut into bars. |
