From Woman's Day mag 7/8/03. Use this to make tacos, meat sauce, chili or other recipes that call for browned ground beef. Ingredients:
3 lbs extra lean ground beef |
1 1/2 cups chopped onions |
1 tablespoon minced garlic |
Directions:
1. Put ingredients in a 5 quart pot. Cook over medium high heat, breaking up clumps of meat with a wooden spoon, 6 minutes or until beef is browned. 2. Cool slightly, then place 2 cups in each of 4 gallon-size ziptop food bags. Press out air, seal and freeze flat. |
