Now when you make your roux for gravy, it will have a nice golden brown color...and you don't even have to burn it!! Ingredients:
1 cup all-purpose flour |
salt (optional) |
pepper (optional) |
Directions:
1. Spread flour over bottom of shallow skillet. 2. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until evenly browned. 3. Remove from skillet as soon as it reaches the coloring you want.Time may vary. 4. Cool completely. 5. Store in air-tight container. |
