Brown Toast With Sardines, Lemon and Spring (Green) Onions |

The last of my toastie recipes. A great one for lunches. Think I might have this today! Ingredients:
2 slices whole wheat bread |
1 tablespoon butter |
1 tablespoon spring onion (green onion) |
1 (120 g) can sardines, in brine, drained and bones removed |
1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice |
Directions:
1. Lightly toast bread and spread with butter. 2. Sprinkle with onion and top with sardines. Drizzle lemon juice and season with black pepper. 3. Place under medium-low grill/broiler 2-3 minutes. (Watch carefully). |
