Brown Sugar Walnut Fudge

Recipe came from one of my mom's dear friends who is a wonderful cook. I've also substituted pecans for walnuts. To make a white coconut fudge, substitute white sugar for the brown and coconut instead of nuts.
Ingredients:
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup milk
2 cups powdered sugar
1 cup nuts
Directions:
1. Melt butter and stir in brown sugar.
2. Cook over low heat 2 minutes.
3. Add milk and let come to a rolling boil.
4. Remove and cool.
5. Add powdered sugar and beat until smooth and thick like fudge.
6. Add nuts.
7. Pour into a buttered 8x8.
8. When cool, cut into squares.
