This is a most awesome syrup for drizzling on sweet buns, pancakes, ice cream, crepes, you name it! Between the buttery brown sugar goodness, the lick of madagascar vanilla paste, and kiss of cinnamon, this is truely delicious! Ingredients:
1/4 cup butter |
2/3 cup brown sugar, packed |
3 tablespoons water |
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/2 cup golden raisins or 1/2 cup pecan pieces or 1/2 cup walnut pieces |
1/4 teaspoon vanilla bean paste or 1 teaspoon vanilla |
Directions:
1. Simmer (at low boil) together butter, water, brown sugar, cinnamon, and raisins for 1 minute. Stir in vanila bean paste. 2. Enjoy! |
