A simple little recipe for when you get caught without any syrup for your pancakes or even over some ice cream. Ingredients:
1 lb brown sugar (2 cups) |
1 1/2 cups water |
1/2 teaspoon vanilla or 1/2 teaspoon maple flavoring |
Directions:
1. In a medium sauce pan, add brown sugar and water and bring to a boil. 2. Stir constantly for about 3 minutes and reduce heat to low. 3. Keep stirring until all sugar has dissolved. 4. Remove from heat and stir in flavoring. 5. Allow to cool before using. |
