This recipe goes with Bishop Whipple Pudding Ingredients:
1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons butter or margarine |
1 1/2 cups firmly packed dark brown sugar |
pinch of salt |
1 tablespoon hot water |
1/4 cup evaporated milk |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
Directions:
1. Combine butter, sugar, and salt in a small saucepan. Cook over low heat 8 minutes or until sugar dissolves, stirring constantly. Stir in hot water. Remove from heat; cool slightly. Gradually add milk and vanilla; stir well. |
