This tasty sauce can be served over white cake, gingerbread cake or christmas pudding Ingredients:
1/2 cup brown sugar |
3 tablespoons flour |
1 tablespoon butter |
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg |
1/2 cup boiling water |
1/2 teaspoon vanilla |
Directions:
1. Place all ingredients, except water and vanilla in saucepan. 2. Blend together over low heat until butter is melted. 3. Turn up heat to medium. 4. Slowly add boiling water, stirring constantly until thickened. 5. Remove from heat and add vanilla. |
