One of the many fish recipes I found one year during Lent - this one made it easy to give up meat. Very easy, but the taste is out of proportion to the effort. Ingredients:
1/2 cup brown sugar |
4 tablespoons butter, melted |
2 tablespoons lemon juice |
3 tablespoons soy sauce |
2 tablespoons white wine or 2 tablespoons cooking wine |
2 salmon fillets |
Directions:
1. Combine sugar, butter, juice, soy sauce, and wine. 2. Place the salmon fillets in a baking dish and cover with the marinade. 3. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 3-6 hours. 4. Bake 15-20 minutes at 400 degrees, basting every 15 minutes. |
