* 2 cups carrots, sliced |
* 1 onion, diced |
* 1/4 cup brown sugar |
* 2 tbsp margarine, melted, or olive oil |
* 1/4 tsp cinnamon |
Directions:
1. Steam the carrots in a small amount of water until tender, about 8 minutes. Drain thoroughly. 2. In a medium saucepan, combine the carrots, onion, brown sugar, margarine or oil and cinnamon. Simmer, stirring occasionally for 15 minutes. |
