Ingredients:

1 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup water

2 stiff-beaten egg whites

Directions:

1. Cook sugar, water to soft-ball stage (236º).
2. Gradually add to whites, beating until mixture forms peaks.
3. Frosts tops, sides of two 8-inch lager cake.
