An easy, sweet, cinnamon-y drop cookie. Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups light brown sugar, firmly packed |
1/4 cup water |
3 tablespoons honey |
1 large egg |
2 1/3 cups all-purpose flour |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
2 teaspoons cinnamon |
1/2 teaspoon ground allspice |
1 cup finely chopped walnuts (or pecans) |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. 2. In a large mixing bowl, combine first 4 ingredients. Beat until well combined. 3. In another bowl, combine dry ingredients and stir. Gradually add dry mixture to creamed mixture and blend until well-mixed. Stir in nuts. 4. Drop by tsp onto greased baking sheets about 1 1/2 apart. 5. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until cookie edges are lightly browned. 6. Remove cookies from oven and let cool about 2 minutes before removing to a wire rack. 7. Store in airtight container. |
