Bake in a preheated oven for 20-25 minutes. Cut into 2 1/2 squares when cool. Ingredients:
8 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted |
2 cups light brown sugar |
2 large eggs |
2 teaspoons vanilla, extract |
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour |
2 teaspoons baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts |
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and grease a 9 x13 baking pan. 2. Set aside. 3. In a large bowl, thoroughly combine the butter, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. 4. In a medium bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt. 5. Thoroughly combine with the butter-sugar mixture. 6. Fold in the nuts. 7. Spread the mixture in the prepared pan and bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes. 8. Cut into 2 1/2 squares when cool. 9. Store in an airtight container. 10.
