I got this recipe from a magazine several years ago, orginally from Barbara Briner of Texas. Great for appetizer parties! Ingredients:
1 (16 ounce) package bacon |
1 (1 lb) package 2-inch smoked sausage |
1/4 cup brown sugar, packed |
Directions:
1. Cut bacon into thirds. 2. Wrap each sausage with a third of a slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick. 3. Place in a baking dish in a single layer. 4. Sprinkle with brown sugar. 5. Bake for 35-45 minutes at 375 degrees. 6. Serve warm. 7. Makes about 48. |
