Make this 5-ingredient Brown Sugar Applesauce in your slow-cooker for an easy, fall-flavored snack. Ingredients:
3 pounds cooking apples, cored, peeled and sliced |
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
1 1 1/2 t. lemon juice |
garnish: cinnamon |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a slow cooker. Cover and cook on high setting for 3 hours. 2. Stir occasionally; mash with a potato masher to desired consistency. Sprinkle portions with cinnamon. |
