Makes a savoury gravy for dipping. Ingredients:
2 tablespoons cornstarch |
2 teaspoons rice vinegar |
2 teaspoons brown sugar |
2 tablespoons soy sauce |
1 teaspoon oyster sauce |
1 cup beef broth |
1/8 teaspoon ginger |
dried chili pepper flakes |
Directions:
1. In a small saucepan, blend starch, ginger, soy, vinegar and sugar. Slowly stir in beef broth and oyster sauce. Stir over a low heat until thickened and transparent. Stir in chili flakes. Serve hot. |
