1 1/3 cups water |
1 cup instant brown rice (such as uncle ben's) |
1 cup frozen green peas |
2 tablespoons thinly sliced green onions |
1 1/2 tablespoons preshredded fresh parmesan cheese |
1 teaspoon butter |
1/8 teaspoon salt |
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper |
Directions:
1. Combine water and rice in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil; cover, reduce heat, and simmer 10 minutes or until water is absorbed and rice is tender. 2. Stir in green peas and remaining ingredients. |
