Brown Rice With Fruit And Vegetables |

This colorful and delicious rice dish can be made as a side or main dish. (You can add or substitute many other fruits and vegetables, too.) Ingredients:
note: needed- 3 cups cooked brown rice |
1 cup sliced carrots |
1 tbsp. canola oil |
1/4 cup sliced green onions (or more to taste) |
2 cups cored and chopped apples |
3 cups cooked brown rice |
1/2 tsp. salt |
1/2 cup raisins |
1 tbsp. seasame seeds (opt.) |
Directions:
1. In a large skillet, cook carrots in oil for about 5 mins. over medium. 2. ___________________ 3. Add onions and apples and cook 3-5 mins. longer. 4. ___________________ 5. Stir in remaining ingredients. 6. Cook until thoroughly heated. |
