Ingredients:
2 cup(s) brown rice uncooked |
1 cup(s) butter |
1 onion chopped |
2 cup(s) beef bullion |
1 cup(s) raisins |
8 tablespoon(s) parsley |
1 teaspoon(s) salt |
2 cup(s) slivered almonds |
Directions:
1. Saute onion in butter (5 min) 2. Add dry rice - sauté 3 min 3. Add bullion, salt, raisins 4. Bring to boil 5. Remove from heat 6. Cover and let stand (5 min) 7. Stir in almonds and parsley 8. It takes longer for brown rice to get tender. Allow about 1 hr. |
