Brown Rice Breakfast Bowl

Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups water
1 cup brown rice
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup raisins
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
nonfat milk (optional)
brown sugar (optional)
Directions:
1. In a saucepan over medium-high heat, bring the water to a boil.
2. Add in rice and salt; lower heat to medium-low and cook, covered, about 40 minutes or until tender.
3. Stir in raisins and walnuts; cook, uncovered 5 more minutes.
4. Serve in bowls with milk and brown sugar if desired.
