Flavorful brown rice with onions. Ingredients:
160 g onion, chopped (med size) |
2 tablespoon olive oil |
1 cup brown rice, uncooked |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 3/4 cup chicken broth (14 oz can) |
1/4 cup water |
Directions:
1. Cook onion in olive oil over low heat. 2. Add rice, salt, broth and water. 3. Bring to a boil. 4. Cover, turn the heat down to simmer for 35 minutes (until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed). 5. Remove from heat. |
