From Darlene Kossman. Myrene M. gave the recipe to her. It has mini marshamallows on it as well as frosting. Old recipe-well used! lol Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter |
1/4 cup cocoa |
1 cup sugar |
2 eggs |
3/4 cup flour, sifted |
1/4 teaspoon baking powder |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/2 cup nuts, chopped |
2 cups miniature marshmallows |
1 cup sugar |
4 tablespoons milk |
4 tablespoons butter |
1/2 cup chocolate chips |
Directions:
1. Melt together butter and chocolate. 2. Sift dry ingredients together. 3. Add melted butter mixture. 4. Add nuts. 5. Add eggs. 6. Beat well. 7. Pour into greased 9x12 pan. 8. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes. 9. Take out and cover with marshmallows. 10. Place under broiler until melted. 11. Remove from broiler and pour on frosting. 12. For frosting: mix together, sugar, milk and butter. 13. Bring to a boil. 14. Add chocolate chips. 15. Pour over marshmallows. 16. Cool. 17. Cut into bars. |
