Ingredients:
4 cups all-purpose flour |
3 cups sugar |
2 teaspoons baking soda |
1 1/2 teaspoons salt |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon |
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg |
1/2 teaspoon ground allspice |
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves |
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger |
4 large eggs |
1 cup vegetable oil |
1 (15-ounce) can pumpkin |
2/3 cup water |
1 cup chopped pecans |
Directions:
1. Beat first 14 ingredients at medium speed with an electric mixer just until dry ingredients are moistened. Fold in pecans. Spoon evenly into 2 greased and floured 9- x 5-inch loafpans. 2. Bake at 350° for 1 hour or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pans on wire racks 10 minutes; remove from pans, and cool completely on wire racks. |
