A colorful and wonderful side dish.
Ingredients:
2 firm ripe tomatoes, halved
sprinkle of
black pepper
basil
oregano
course salt
parmesan cheese, grated
Directions:
1. Cut tomatoes in half. Sprinkle with pepper, salt basil and oregano. Top with grated parmesan cheese (you can substitute romano or another cheese of your choice) Place in baking dish and broil until chese is melted and tomato is lightly cooked, not mushy. You may also bake or grill. Bake at 300 degrees.
