Rounding out this flavorful fish entrée with basmati rice and cooked spinach will not only taste terrific but will also counterbalance the higher percentage of fat in this dish. Ingredients:
3/4 cup gruyère cheese sauce |
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg |
4 (6-ounce) orange roughy or other firm white fish fillets |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon black pepper |
cooking spray |
1/8 teaspoon paprika |
Directions:
1. Preheat broiler. 2. Combine Gruyère Cheese Sauce and nutmeg; stir until blended. 3. Sprinkle roughy fillets with salt and pepper. Arrange fillets on a broiler pan coated with cooking spray; broil 6 minutes. Remove pan from oven; turn fillets over. Spread 3 tablespoons cheese sauce mixture over each fillet. Sprinkle with paprika. Broil 2 minutes or until fillets begin to brown (watch carefully). |
