Broiled Mushrooms

Ingredients:
12 large fresh mushrooms, cleaned
2 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
12 slices bread, cut into 2 1/2-inch rounds and toasted
chopped fresh parsley
Directions:
1. Remove mushroom stems, and reserve for another recipe. Place mushroom caps, top side down, in a shallow baking dish.
2. Combine butter and garlic powder; blend well. Dot each mushroom with butter mixture.
3. Broil 4 inches from heat about 5 minutes. Place on toast rounds, and garnish with parsley. Serve immediately.
