This is my favorite party food. There aren't actually measurements or cooking times, just eyeball it. Ingredients:
fresh asparagus |
olive oil |
red pepper flakes |
mayonnaise |
curry powder |
Directions:
1. Rinse and dry a bunch of asparagus. 2. Place the asparagus in a gallon sized zip-loc bag and drizzle liberally with olive oil then add your favorite seasoning. (I use red pepper flakes and mixed-up salt. ) 3. Marinate in the refrigerator, overnight if possible. 4. Arrange the asparagus on a cookie sheet and broil in oven, checking often and turning asaragus with tongs. 5. You will know it's done when it looks done. 6. Serve with a dip consisting of mayonnaise and curry powder. (Just mix curry powder in until it looks right.) 7. You really can't mess this up. |
