Broccoli with Zesty Sauce |

Ingredients:
2 tablespoon(s) butter or oleo (melted) |
1/4 cup(s) chopped cashews |
1 pound(s) fresh brocolli |
dash ground red pepper (cayenne) |
2 tablespoon(s) minced onion |
1/2 teaspoon(s) paprika |
1/2 teaspoon(s) poppy seeds |
1/4 teaspoon(s) salt |
1 1/2 cup(s) sour cream |
2 tablespoon(s) sugar |
1 teaspoon(s) white vinegar |
Directions:
1. Trim off large leaves of broccoli and remove tough ends of stalks. Wash broccoli thoroughly; cook in a small amount of boiling water 8 minutes or until tender. Drain well. Set broccoli aside and kepp warm. 2. Sute onion in butter in a medium skillet over medium heat, stirring constantly until tender. Reduce heat to low. Stir in sour cream and next 6 ingredients, cook, stirring constantly, until thoroughly heated. Pour over reserved broccoli, sprinkle with cashews. Serve immediately. |
