I am always looking for fast, interesting and low fat recipes for veggies. This is from the Cooking Light archives Ingredients:
2 teaspoons olive oil |
6 cups broccoli florets |
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt |
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes |
3 garlic cloves, thinly sliced |
1/4 cup water |
Directions:
1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add broccoli, salt, crushed red pepper and sliced garlic. 2. Saute 2 minutes. Add 1/4 cup water. 3. Cover, reduce heat to low and cook for 2 minutes or until broccoli is crisp tender. |
