Broccoli Salad Supreme

A very tasty salad that's made the day before. Omit the cayenne if you wish.
Ingredients:
1 head broccoli
1/2 lb swiss cheese, grated
2 green onions, chopped
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup white sugar
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1 dash cayenne pepper
1/2 lb bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
Directions:
1. Wash the broccoli and cut the florets into bite sized pieces.
2. Combine broccoli with the cheese in a large bowl.
3. Add the green onions and toss well.
4. In a small bowl whisk together the mayo, sugar, vinegar and cayenne.
5. Pour over the broccoli mixture and stir well.
6. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
7. Just before serving stir in half the bacon and sprinkle the other half on top.
