Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup(s) sugar |
1 1/2 cup(s) water |
1/4 cup(s) flour |
1/2 cup(s) vinegar |
1/2 teaspoon(s) salt |
2 dash(es) tabasco or favorite hot sauce |
2 teaspoon(s) mustard |
1 cup(s) mayonnaise |
1 whole(s) red onion chopped |
1/4 pound(s) bacon fried and crumbled |
1 bunch(es) broccoli cut into florets |
1 cup(s) raisins |
1 cup(s) celery chopped |
Directions:
1. Fore dressing: mix sugar, water, flour, vinegar, salt and tabasco together in 2-qt bot and boil gently until clear. Remove from heat and let cool. Add mustard and mayonnaise, whisk together. Place broccoli, onions, bacon, raisins and celery in large bowl, adding desired amount of dressing, toss. Dressing will keep for several weeks. |
