This side dish is great for potlucks. I first tried it from a grocery store, but it was a bit pricey. Of course they couldn't give me the secret sauce recipe, so I looked it up online. It took a few tries to perfect and replicate the recipe from the store. Read more . It is definitely semi-healthy. :) Ingredients:
2 heads of broccoli florets, chopped |
1/2 red onion, chopped |
6 slices of bacon, crumbled |
1/2 cup sugar |
1 cup real mayo |
1/2 cup of sunflower seeds |
3 tbsp white wine vinegar |
3 tbsp cider vinegar |
1/2 cup of raisins |
green onion, chopped |
Directions:
1. 1.) Whisk together: Mayo, Vinegar, and Sugar. 2. 2.) Toss in all other ingredients. 3. 3.) Mix well until all Broccoli is covered. 4. 4.) Refrigerate for 2 hrs. 5. 5.) Enjoy! |
