A friend gave me this recipe and I have always eyeballed it on the measurements. Today I finally figured out the measurements, since I was trying to determine weight watchers points and I decided that this one is too big of a hit everywhere I take it not to share it. (By the way, it's 2 points per 1/2 cup serving.) Great for a vegetarian meal, or just as a side dish for any meal. Ladies I know like to take it to bridal and baby showers. Super easy & fast to make with only four ingredients.
Ingredients:
1 head broccoli
1/2 cup raisins
1/4 cup sunflower seeds
1/3 cup ken's lite sweet vidalia onion salad dressing
Directions:
1. -Wash the broccoli and cut the florets into bite size pieces.
2. -Pat broccoli dry with a paper towel.
3. -In a mixing bowl, put the broccoli, raisins, and sunflower seeds.
4. -Then add the salad dressing and mix well.
5. -To me, this taste best when it has had time to chill for about an hour, but there are times when I've eaten it immediately and it's always tasted yummy. Obviously you can play with this recipe to suit your taste buds, but this one is a good base.
