This is a great salad to have as a side dish with any meal or even as a meal itself. Perfect for those hot summer months.
Ingredients:
6 cups broccoli florets
6 -8 slices bacon, crumbled
1/2 cup golden raisin
8 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, cubed
1/2 cup cherry tomatoes
1/3 cup sunflower seeds
salt and pepper
3/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons vinegar
Directions:
1. In a large bowl combine broccoli florets, crumbled bacon, raisins, cheddar cheese, cherry tomatoes, and sunflower seeds.
2. In a separate medium size bowl, combine mayonnaise, sugar and vinegar. Mix thoroughly until well combined.
3. Pour dressing over broccoli and other ingredients. Mix well until all items are well covered with dressing.
4. Chill in refrigerator for atleast 4 hours.
