Ingredients:
1 16-ounce package(s) bow tie pasta |
6 cup(s) fresh broccoli florets |
4 green onions, thinly sliced |
1/4 cup(s) olive oil |
1/2 cup(s) water |
1/2 teaspoon(s) salt |
1/4 teaspoon(s) pepper |
1/2 cup(s) grated romano cheese |
Directions:
1. • Cook pasta according to package directions. 2. • Meanwhile, in a Dutch oven, saute broccoli and green onions in oil for 3 minutes. Stir in the water, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 6-8 minutes or until broccoli is crisp-tender. 3. • Drain pasta and add to broccoli mixture; toss with cheese. |
