Broccoli puff. Ingredients:
1 10 oz. pkg. frozen chopped broccoli |
1 can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted |
2 ozs. sharp american cheese, shredded (about 1/2 c.) |
1/4 c. milk |
1/4 c. mayonnaise or salad dressing |
1 beaten egg |
1/4 c. fine dry bread crumbs |
1 tbsp. margarine or butter, melted |
Directions:
1. Cook broccoli by directions on the package. 2. Drain well. 3. Place in about a 10 x 6 x 11/2 inch baking dish. 4. Stir together soup and cheese, add milk gradually. 5. Add mayonnaise and beaten egg. 6. Blend well. 7. Pour over broccoli. 8. Combine bread crumbs and margarine. 9. Sprinkle evenly over soup mixture. 10. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. 11. Makes 6 servings. |
