Broccoli with cheese and egg in a pie shell Ingredients:
6 cups frozen broccoli stems |
1 cup chopped onion |
1 (9 inch) unbaked pie shells |
4 eggs, beaten |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
8 slices american cheese |
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350'. Add broccoli and chopped onions together in pot and cook according to Broccoli directions; drain, cool slightly and coarsely chop. In prepared pie crust, layer half of the broccoli, half of the eggs, half of the salt and 4 slices of the cheese; repeat layers. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Place on foil lined baking sheet. Bake at 350' for 40 to 50 minutes or until golden brown and eggs are set. |
