A great way to cook broccoli. My family enjoys this. Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs broccoli spears |
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can reduced-sodium chicken broth |
1/2 cup chopped onion |
3 teaspoons minced garlic |
1 tablespoon butter |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
4 tablespoons shredded parmesan cheese |
Directions:
1. Bring broccoli and broth to a boil. 2. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 5-8 minutes or until desired doneness. 3. Saute onion and garlic in butter until tender. 4. Stir in pepper. 5. Drain broccoli and place in a serving bowl and add onion mixture. 6. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. |
