Broccoli Grape Salad

This is my favourite salad - it is also the one all my family and friends asks me to bring when I am to bring something!
Ingredients:
2 large heads of broccoli, cut into small florets (you can use a bit of stalk, but make sure the pieces are small like the florets
2 cups green seedless grapes
6 slices bacon, fried crispy and crumbled
1/2 red onion, chopped fine
3/4 cups toasted slivered almonds
dressing
1 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
1 cup sugar
Directions:
1. Cook and crumble bacon and set aside. Cut up broccoli in large bowl. Halve grapes and add to broccoli. Chop and add onion. Make up dressing. You can make everything to this point ahead of time. At serving time, add salad dressing and toss and then sprinkle with bacon and toasted almonds.
