An easy alterative to tradition coleslaw, it stays crisp, crunchy and full of flavor. Perfect for picnics, potlucks, and family meals. Ingredients:
1 (12 ounce) package shredded broccoli slaw mix (found w/ the packaged salads in produce section) |
1/4 cup chopped red onion |
1/2 cup raisins (at least) |
1/2 cup unsalted sunflower seeds |
1 lb chopped cooked crispy bacon |
1 cup mayonnaise |
2 tablespoons vinegar |
3 tablespoons sugar |
black pepper |
Directions:
1. -CombineBrocolli slaw, onion, raisins, and sunflower seeds. 2. -Ina separate bowl mix mayo, vinegar, sugar, and pepper to taste. 3. -Blenddressing into slaw mix, cover and refrigerate overnight or a few hours. 4. -Rightbefore serving mix in bacon. |
