Just an easy soup to fix and it freezes great. Ingredients:
3 cups of frozen or fresh broccoli |
1/3 cup chopped onions |
1/4 cup butter |
1/2 cup reg. flour |
2 cups milk |
salt and pepper to taste |
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese |
1-1/2 tsp. prepared mustard |
10-3/4 oz. chicken broth |
Directions:
1. Add onion to broccoli and cook. In medium sauce pan melt butte, stir in flour, salt and pepper til well blended. Gradually add milk until well blended. Add mustard, chicken broth, broccoli with onion and cheese. Cook until cheese is melted. |
