This is sort of a Family Secret recipe that we've been making since I was a little girl. It's a bit high in fat and cals... but oh-so-gooooood.... in moderation, of course!! Ingredients:
2 cups steamed broccoli |
2 cups cheddar cheese |
1/2 cup mayonnaise |
1/2 cup milk |
1 oz lemon |
1 tsp vinegar |
1 can cream of mushroom soup |
12 1/2 oz cheese nips |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350. 2. Steam and drain Broccoli. 3. Mix, with a whisk, Soup, Mayo, Milk, Lemon, Vinegar, and Cheese until blended. 4. Crush Cheese Nips until in small pieces. 5. Pour Broccoli and wet mixture into a 2 or 3 quart casserole dish, mix together. 6. Place crushed Cheese Nips on top, evenly. 7. Bake, uncovered, 30 minutes. Allow to cool 10 minutes. 8. Serve and enjoy! |
