1 head broccoli |
1 head cauliflower |
1/2 cup dried breadcrumbs |
1 tablespoon butter, melted |
2 tablespoons parsley |
2 teaspoons lemon zest |
2 teaspoons thyme |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon black pepper |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375°F. 2. Break heads of broccoli and cauliflower into florets, rinse under water. 3. Place wet vegetables in a 2-quart oven-proof casserole dish. Bake until slightly tender, about 40 minutes. 4. Combine remaining ingredients; sprinkle over vegetables. Bake until crumbs are crisp and brown and vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes. 5. Yield: 1/2 cup per serving. |
